I was referred to Dr. Portell's office by my dentist Dr. Mary Katherine Dvorak. She advised me that his office was on call for weekend emergencies. When I called his service and told them that I was in pain and Dr. Dvorak would like me to be seen, they called Dr. Portell. He told them to tell me that he never heard of Dr. Dvorak and that he was not going to come into the office to see me. The message he sent was rude and insensitive. I would not recommend his office to anyone who has a dental emergency.

Dr Portell is extremely knowledgeable and works hard to get to the root cause of a problem before breaking out the drill. Excellent beside manner. I trust him completely.
