Dr.Dobkin has been my radiologist for 13 years and her care of me has been exceptional. She is a specialist in breast radiology and is extremely knowledgeable and thorough -- she treated me with understanding and compassion. Even after moving from NY to NM I continued to seek her care and especially flew to NY in order to have her continued meticulous care.

Had a needle biopsy done by Dr. Dobkin in Feb 2005. During the procedure, the anesthetic wore off, and it was like being tortured!!! She had to stop the procedure since I had jumped out of the vice and across the room. She was not the least bit apologetic, or sympathetic. She promised to call me with the results in 2 days. Never heard from her, and had to call her after a weekend went by, since she never had the courtesy to call. Still black and blue, over 6 years later!

This doctor probably knows her stuff, but commits the cardinal sin for a doctor: not answering questions, and treating the patient like an idiot. She just wants to poke/scan/prod you, with no questions, no comments, no interaction, no human touch. Was sarcastic. Definitely unhelpful, not recommended.
