Went for help with neuropathy, and he ordered extensive blood work. Was more concerned with my liver readings from previous blood work, than in helping me with Neuropathy. Never offered any suggestions or got back to me with blood work results. I had to call the office as well as not offering me any additional advice or to even come back to discuss anything further. Was very confused by his lack of concern. Will never go back.

Very disappointed in his treatment of my family member - he was very condescending and even questioned diagnosis and acted rudely - my recommendation is to seek a different neurologist!

I think some of these commenters are referring to a different doctor. He is in bridge water NJ not Dallas TX. He is a neurologist not a cardiologist. My wife has gone to him for four years to treat epilepsy. The staff always answers the phone when we call and handle calling in prescriptions promptly. Dr. Potluri has a great bedside manner. He is patient and asks many questions to help further treat her disorder. He is good with having little kids in the exam room too as we have a two year old that we have to take with us to exams as we can't always get a babysitter for a doctor visit.

The doctor and his staff seem nice, and I had no issues with his bedside manner. However, the office is impossible to reach. They literally never answer their phone, and refer you to an answering service no matter when you call. Also, I feel like the doctor himself is stretched too thin - his availability is limited and his punctuality leaves much to be desired.

I agree strongly with the woman below . This doctor has the utmost worst beside manor. He admitted me into the hospital overnight and never came to see me. I waited 3 week to get a follow up office apt...and had to be re admitted under another neurologist, who was kind and compassionate and discovered I was vitamin B 12 deficient (which can cause confusion ). I kept my follow up apt with Dr. Potlurri anyway, as he was rude to me and the report he sent to my primary stated my husband agreed with him....which clearly my husband did not . I should have remembered the time he sent my husband for a MRI/ MRA of his brain....his covering doctor told us he had a brain anuyerseum. We went to The Chief of Nuerosurgery at Columbia and repeated the MRI, to found out he NEVER had one. They don't just disappear! Stay away....far away

Not happy with this doc. My son had a grand mal seizure. Doc ordered many tests, but gave us no info. When I came in the 2nd time with my list of questions he was very irate like I was bothering him. Then he was disrespectful to me. My son was pretty appalled to witness how this doc acted towards me. Then he cleared my son to drive and 1 month later my son had another seizure. I will not go to this doc again.
