My experience with Ryan Nicholas was unsatisfactory, at best. I have an auto-immune disorder, and his knowledge and understanding of the many ramifications was inadequate and even dismissive. He did not respect my intelligence and ability to reason and research. Nor did he give me any respect for having learned about how to deal with the situation over more than 40 years of living with it, beginning at a time when little was known. His attitude came across as superior and authoritative. I would not recommend him.

Dr. Nicholas is the best doctor I've had. I had an infection that was hard to treat and it took a long time to heal. Dr. Nicholas was extremely knowledgeable about how to treat it and he took the time to explain exactly what was going on. I waited much too long to go to him because the previous Dr. wasn't that good. Dr. Nicholas took over his practice and I didn't bother to take the time to give him a chance. Dr. Nicholas has never rushed me or made me feel like everything was just a part of aging. I will now follow through with the things I need to do to improve my health.

Don't go to this doctor if you are elderly. He is not responsive. Will not hospitalize without first having an appointment -- Then won't schedule an appointment for weeks. Forces a visit to the ER for elderly and frail. Also, not proactive with lab orders. Have to remind him what is due. Have been extremely dissapointed with Mercy in general.
