Tried this place out today because I live in the neighborhood. Had a tiny chip in my front tooth that a dentist had repaired a couple years ago and the filling fell out. No big deal.

The dentist announced that he was "a chip specialist," also told me that my other front teeth were ground down, and he'd fix them all for me. He filed down healthy teeth, slathered on the plaster, and sent me on my way.

When I got home, I felt like my teeth were really rough. A check in the mirror showed that the plaster is covering half of the front of my teeth and wasn't buffed down very well. Within three hours, my front tooth broke, and instead of the tiny chip there's now a much larger section with a jagged, sharp edge. Another tooth that he mangled has chipped. I'm beyond upset and angry.

UPDATE: I called the number after hours, furious and upset, planning to leave a message for them to find in the morning. Apparently it went to Todd's cell phone. He picked up, I explained what happened, and he kinda blew me off and said to come in sometime for me to fix. After I pressed him, he offered 3 PM tomorrow, but didn't really seem to care.

So I started going around facebook, google, and yelp leaving a detailed 1 star review.

Suddently he started blowing up my phone, calling mulitiple times, leaving messages, and sending me texts, saying if I came over in 15 minutes (8 PM) he could fix it. I didn't feel good about going back to the dude, but I also had a damaged tooth and wanted it fixed.

So he shows up in flip flops, and this time he takes his time, using three different dremmel tools to get all the resin to feel smooth. Great. I asked him why he didn't do this the first time, and he just kinda shrugged and said it's hard to see. But he didn't give this kind of attention at all or use these tools the first time. Then he started repairing the broken front tooth, and said he should have told me that sometimes these repairs fail over time, and that a crown would probably be the next step, and that usually he charged $1200 but he'd do it for me for $500.

I let him have it. He hadn't told me that information, and filed down four healthy teeth, and now wanted to charge me to fix his manglings. If I'd known that to be the case, I would have lived with the tiny chip. Now my teeth are broken.

He got sheepish and finished up the new resin fixes, and told me he "prayed to god it holds."

This guy mangled my four front teeth, probably to bilk my insurance. I don't have any hope that this resin stuff is going to hold, and he's permanently damaged my teeth. I may have to pay thousands to another dentist to fix it. I feel violated.

It has also come to my attention that Todd Rinaldi has had his license suspended four times in the state of Colorado. One time he broke a girl's jaw while he extracted wisdom teeth, wired it shut without x-rays, and she started vomiting and was lucky not to aspirate. One time he was self-prescribing medications. One time he was deemed unfit due to narcissistic personality disorder and impulse control disorder. He's also suspended in Missouri and Illinois, I found an article that mentioned a criminal assault charge, and his father was indicted on 13 counts of federal medicaid fraud (with orphans, I'm not making this up).

DO NOT go to this dentist. He is unprofessional, rude, and will rip you off. He is not sanitary and was washing the bloody tools in the sink. Do your research on this guy. I wish I had because he has has his license pulled in other states. I do not know why Colorado is letting him practice. It has taken me four years of going to another denitist and numerous surgeries to fix the damage that he did to my mouth. I tried to file a malpractice suite against him and I found out that it's almost impossible to find a lawyer that handles dental. I also found out why this guy has not has his license taken away. The dental board never hears any of these complaints because he doctors his records and presents them to the lawyers. Then they do not want to go to court because it's to hard to prove. Do not i repeat do not go to this dentist and please google him before you go. It will only take a minute of your time and save you thousands of dollars and heartache.

Terrible Doctor. Scam artist. This man is not in this profession to help his patients. If you, as a patient were capable of obtaining his full attention while in his chair, consider yourself lucky. He overcharged, didn't explain the extent of the procedure, lied about acceptable insurance, and refused to reimburse after insurance covered the procedure. We have since filed a complaint. I warn you, do not sit in this man's chair at ANY of his offices.

Stay away! I went in for a consultation when I broke two teeth. First of all, when I walked into the office, he was on his personal cell phone. I didn't hear the other end of the conversation, but what I heard from him was extremely rude and unprofessional to be doing in front of a patient. He continued to do this for 20 minutes, while I sat in the chair waiting...no other patients were there. He also seemed disrespectful of his receptionist. Once he got to me, he took a quick look in my mouth--didn't even sit down--and immediately said that I would have to get two crowns and pay $1,600, after insurance. Now, I went to ANOTHER dentist the next day. He took x-rays of my teeth and since the root wasn't damaged, put fillings in that are as durable as crowns AND cost a lot less. As someone said before, Dr. Rinaldi is a fly-by-night dentist who just wants cash...and he's a jerk, too.

Dr. buys from us too, and certainly is not a d-hole as some other vendor wrote on this site. Maybe it's the vendor that doesn't know their stuff and can't provide the service he needs. -Chris Reynolds, Darby Dental Supply
