I am a patient of Dr. Ensley. Upon calling to make an appointment for pain and swelling in my face I was told someone would call me back. Two days later I had not received a call so I called the office and was told they had not called me back because the doctor was out of the office until next week since he was on vacation. Why they didn't tell me this two days eairle,r I don't know. Previously, I had an appointment and when I showed up on the proper day at the proper time I was told my appointment was the day before. I went home, checked my appointment book and my appointment had been on the day I showed up at the office. Dr. Ensley is ok, but his front desk staff is anything but helpful and professional. On the other hand, the staff usually reflects the attitude of the doctor. I will be looking for another general practictioner.

I just moved here from out of state so I am a new patient. I like Dr. Ensley. He talks to you like you are a person. Took a lot of time with me to find out everything that has been going on with me. Talked to me about a plan for my health. His staff has always been as well.

Dr. Ensley is an amazing, caring, kind, personable, professional and most importantly knowledgeable physician. I found him after horrific experiences with 2 other primary care doctors (both within a 1 mi radius of Dr Ensley's office ..one with the St. Joseph Chandler Group and the other with the Effingham Hospital Group). We had just moved to Rincon from Boca Raton Florida and were used to receiving excellent care. After my 2 other experiences I thought I was never going to find a good doctor in Rincon. My biggest issue with Drs is when they treat you like you are so inferior and don't know anything about health, medicine and the human body. Well, I am highly educated and have had a few yrs of medical training myself yet these Rincon Drs were treating me very disrespectfully! Then, I found Dr. Ensley! WOW! What a difference!!! He spent so much time with me, listened to all of my concerns, made a plan of treatment, gave me respect and even had an open mind to my thoughts (I have usually been able to offer insights and even diagnose myself in the past). He joked with me and called me a little nutty and neurotic, but from him I could laugh and appreciate it! Top quality care! Excellent knowledge! Great staff! What more could you ask for! If you live in Rincon GA...GO SEE HIM!

Dr. Ensley is the only doctor that I have been to in years that will take the time to actually listen to his patients. He is very personable, knowledgable, and treats my entire family. Not only are my husband and I patients, but we bring our children to see him too. He is great with kids!

Well my wife was seeing Dr. Ensley until he decided to drop her. She did everything he was telling her as far as treatment and yet when he can't figure it out he drops her. No messages from the front desk were relayed to the doctor and the front desk and nurses are very rude. Severe miss communication with the nurses and front desk relaying messeges to doctor. Then when I go up there to speak with the doctor he won't even see me to answer my questions you send the branch manager out to tell me you are dropping us. By far the worst doctor's office I've ever been in and I go to the VA so that is saying something.

Dr. Ensley was my primary doctor for quite awhile before he moved and I must say his loss has been tremendous. He is a wonderful doctor who takes very good care of his patients and refers them to specialist when necessary. I , like many other miss him terribly however our loss is your communities gain.

Dr Ensley takes time to listen and then follows up with questions to try to determine exactly what is going on with your health. He does not dismiss or overlook "minor" complaints as he knows they could be syptomatic of something larger. My infant grandchild was in town and became ill. We took her to him and he was like the baby whisperer. My daughter was amazed at how trusting my grandchild was with him so that he was able to give her a thorough exam. He then took time to explain to my daughter not on what was going on with my grandaughter at that time but also what she could do to help with general "living" with an infant tips. I think my daughter would switch to Dr Ensley in a heartbeat if she lived anywhere near this area.
