I was shocked to see this horrible rating, but maybe because I'm being seen as an adult. After three sessions on a fluke to see someone available in Reno, I find him to be quite helpful and with a unique approach that is enlightening and educational.

Psych testing took FOR EVER!! And was completely ridiculous...when it came back after, 9 months, literally NINE months my child was diagnosed with ADHD. Completely off point. Went to a reputable Neuropsychologist and gained much more insight into the issue - which turned out to be a verbal processing disorder. So yeah, quack, not recommended at all.

Ditto the other comment, had the same experience. The spouse took our kid to Giron most of the time but when I would take the kid there was no serious discussion or therapy even when I brought up issues. He just played games with the kid and gave the kid a toy. This was not worth $200 per session. I think he spent more time treating the spouse's problems than the kid's. Their relationship did not seem to be totally appropriate.

We spent 3 years in therapy with our child. Our child's behavior only got worse. So much so we eventually had to fire Dr. Giron. Come to find out, child was misdiagnosed with ADHD, while other behavior issues went ignored. He just told our child he was making bad choices, and always played a board game. We feel like we wasted valuable time when we needed serious help. We never got any advice that worked.
