The ratings I gave above pertained mostly to the staff...and it killed me to give such a high rating. Dr. Nelson is almost rude. You are in the chair, facing backwards and he never acknowledges his prescence in the room...he comes in and out and never says hello or goodbye. Never engages in any conversation, asks how you are or how you are doing during a procedure. The chairs that you sit in are falling apart and the examining rooms are bare boned at best, not one picture on one wall to take your mind off what's going on. I guess he knows what he's doing, but I'm not a dentist, so how can I say? All in all I would NEVER refer him to a friend, especially one who has any sort of phobia and needs a friendly or nurturing environment.
