I was really happy about not talking to an answering machine when I called this place. There is always somebody to talk to who knows there stuff, and really helpful about the insurance copays and coverage. So I've been seeing Dr. Rim for a while and has been A+. She's the only doctor to explain any interaction between all my medical and psychiatric medications, she is the first doctor to ever order my vitamin levels and just like I knew, it was low. Dr. Rim spends a lot of time educating me what else I need to be doing other than taking medication. I feel like I have a good plan every time I leave. So even thought the copay is steep it is definitely worth it.

No complaints about insurance or anything- just about Dr. Rim. She's really NOT very friendly and personable. She basically listened to me for my first visit- 45 minutes and then gave me a list of the types of medications she could put me on... and then asked, " so what medication do you want to go on?" I was supposed to pretty much choose. She would put me on anything I pretty much asked for. Luckily I'm much more holistic minded so my goal is to NOT be on medication- but I can definitely see how patients can get addicted to benzodiazapines and other meds if psychiatrists are just like, " ok- what would you like today?" Not to mention she just was very very cold. I know that what really matters is her expertise- but since she really didn't give me any real professional advice I feel like if she was friendly or compassionate this review would be a bit better. The front desk staff was friendly though- so that's a plus!

My depression was out of control a couple years ago but I've been really stable and I think its because I have a good doctor and therapist.

I was very happy with my experience with Dr. Christina Rim & Staff, They were professional and Dr. Rim was very helpful. I was very happy to find a doctor in my area, I don't have insurance and paid cash. I feel the consultation and overall visit was a 10 out of 10, no complaints.

This Medical group made me paid the full amount of initial consultation and follow up visit in CASH without billing my insurance to see what my REAL responsibilty is. They told me if I did not pay, Dr Rim will not see us (i.e.the follow up visit)we have to leave even though we already arrived for our appointment. After I spoke to my insurance carrier they told me my REAL responsiblity is around $230. I requested Dr. Rim's office to refund the difference. Dr Rim told me the extra fee is for FAMILY therapy session because I was present with my son ( I need to drive him to the Dr. office!)and the whole visit last approx. 15 minutes. She told my son he needs to find a psychologist for therapy session since she is a doctor she does not do therapy her job is to diagnose & writes prescription only!!! It took us a lot of hassel and filing a complaint to our insurance to go after them before finally get our refund.
