Glad to see this so called Dr finally get caught. I took my sons to him back in 2002/2003. I just got them back from being taken by their father and his girlfriend, abuse and drugs were involved with both of them. At first the youngest was diagnosed bipolar but later they were all diagnosed with PTSD. Younger 2 given so many different meds by this so called Dr that now as adults they have bigger anger, youngest in and out of jail and drug addiction. I hope this man along with the counselor glen never practice again.

I saw Dr. Robertson five years back for eight months. There is not enough room to tell my whole story either. I went in with depression and came out with, Bipolar Type 2, Insomniac with Barlow Syndrome (Mitral Valve Prolapse). Months of taking four unnecessary medications made the depression worse. I attempted suicide on Seroquel, an (anti psychotic) used for sleep. Then was prescribed it again after telling Dr. Robertson about the attempt. Needless to say, he wasn't helpful in any way he was more damaging than anything at that time. After that mess, I saw another doctor who reassured me that at times I suffer from depression only. Then went to Cardiology on Elmendorf base and had the EKG looked at. No heart condition that they could see and wondered why a psychiatrist would diagnose it. If I had known any better at the time... Finding the right doctor is crucial. Do your research, don't just settle. Stay away from this Doc he's not in medicine because he cares, it's all about money...

Not very helpful. He will ask you questions about what problems you are having in your life, and then will start talking about what he thinks. Normal stuff. Then he will tell you this long story about how it relates to him. He also tells long stories about historical medical people. His biggest problem is how judgemental he is. He will talk behind other patients backs, saying that most arent bright, and he will criticize you. The other day he called me a spoiled brat for something that I will not explain. He also chooses sides. Not only that but he will talk about your personal info outside the halway. Do not reccomend.

One of the things a patient should look for in any doctor who does counseling and prescription drug management is the doctor's ability to listen to the patient. Dr. Robertson pushes his own agenda and doesn't let the patient get a word in edgewise; not even to describe how the current and new medications he dumped on the patient are affecting them. The patient normally gets a one-hour appointment with this doctor, however, the majority of that hour is spent with him telling the patient what (he thinks) is wrong without allowing the patient to refute or agree with his assumptions. The final straw with this doctor was when he announced my financial billing status across the waiting room in front of another patient. Bottom line, if you're looking for quality and respect, look somewhere else.
