My overall experience was great. I was taken in for dilating drops right away, then seen by the doctor in less than 45 minutes. My fluorescein angiogram was done right there (my other retina doc would have me come back seperate visits for OCT and angiograms), and he spent all the time I needed to explain about my macular degeneration. My overall impression was of a caring doctor providing expert care, I would give all aspects 5 stars

Dr. Svitra has been treating me for many years after I developed a "stroke" in one of the veins of my retina. He made the diagnosis on the same day by performing a "retinal angiogram," explained the condition to me and my family, and performed treatment that day. I have been under his care for over five years, and I am confident that he saved my vision. He has always been prompt, hardworking, thorough and a true professional in the medical field, always making me feel that I get all of the attention that is needed, never rushing or taking shortcuts. I hope that he will always be around for me.
