Helped me identify causes of my chronic Red Eye. Went from 1 episode/month lasting >1 week to 1-2 episodes/year lasting 1-2 days! He wasn't the first Optomitrist I had seen for this problem! Other optomistrists made me wait a month to get in the office when I had an episode, and they could only speculate what MIGHT have been happening a month ago! Dr. Plourde would see me immediately when I had an episode, so he wasn't guessing what the problem is! As a doctor myself, I think we're very lucky to have an optomistrist of his caliber in our small town.
