Dr. Allred was our pediatrician when my baby was born for about 5 months. Our son had an adverse reaction to the first set of vaccinations at 2 months and Dr. Allred wouldn't even consider the vaccinations as a possible cause or even contribution even though it was the very same day. We hadn't heard anything about the vaccine controversy and had no idea what people were claiming about vaccines so we were confused and frustrated as to why he was so defensive, rude and unhelpful. I went in multiple times after that trying to get relief, answers and help, but he prescribed different medications each time to no avail. He became very defensive and hostile when I asked questions about the vaccines and even yelled that he didn't have time to go through all the ingredients with me when I asked. I said he didn't have to, I just wanted a list or packet insert because something in those shots was hurting my baby. He stormed out in a huff and leaving me and my hurting baby with nothing. Beware.

Dr. Allred is not board certified in pediatrics. The website at ogden clinic says he is, but he isn't. My son was failing to thrive at 2 mos. and "Dr" allred didn't catch it. He is a horrible dr and I will never go back. I don't recommend him at all.

What can I say but AWESOME!!!! I love Dr. Allred and the staff. I brought my son in with what I thought was a heat rash (he was newborn) and it turned out to be a little bit of acne. I felt dumb but Dr. Allred assured me it's better to be safe than sorry! My only problem is he quit working Fridays and that was the only day my husband and I could take our son in, together. We switched to a PA in the same office who works on Fridays.

When I was Pregnant with my son -who is now 3. I was looking for a Pediatrician and met numerous in the the area. Dr. Allred was my first choice. He is always happy and is willing to answer any of my questions in detail. Being a worried parent I have taken my son in and he wasn't sick. Dr. Allred never made me feel like my concerns were not important. I would highly recommend him to any one. His staff has been great. They remember my son's name and have taken great care to pronounce it properly. I also like that they use 2 staff members to give shots simultaneously.

Dr. Allred has been my 2 year old sons peidatrician since he was born and is now my newborns doctor as well. Dr. Allred has always been very informative, kind and very capable. He takes the time to answer my questions thorougly even though I know he is very busy. I have always felt confident in having him as my childrens pediatrician. My son really likes him too. Dr. Allred is always very gentle and patient with my children. We have had to go to other pediatritions at times because Dr. Allred was booked, my two year old son did not have a pleasant experiance at those times. I heartily recommend Dr. John Allred!

This Dr. is nice to your face but does not listen to you, very fake & is not helpful when you have concerns.

I thought that Dr. Allred was going to workout. Apparently he is easily offended and very high maintenance. After an appointment with no apparent problems or conflicts, he refused to see my infant daughter again and used his nurses and receptionists to communicate this. I have no idea what happened and feel that he was cowardly in his actions.
