Not sure why these reviews are so negative but I have had a great experience with him! When all other dr's were pushing for money instead of helping me with something I have been fighting with for over 6 years, he pressed for a solution. His staff and especially Taelor Banks, made everything easy for me and I couldn't be more thankful! -clm

Please, Please do not go to this dentist.. He loves your credit card and payments on the spot regardless of a dental emergency. If you want coffee by the fireplace then by all means go to his office other- wise find a dentist with concern and care for the individual!!

Dr. James D. Walmsley's response
I regret this person was offended by the generally accepted practice of paying for dental service when it is given. I am at a loss to know what was expected by the patient. Credit card payments can be extended over time. I don't know who this patient is or what they anticipated but I do appreciate the compliment of the coffee by the fire.

Do not go to this dentist. He has no concern for your oral health. I had a crown placed by him. It does not fit, went back 3x to have it corrected, never corrected it. There is a large gap between my tooth and the crown that allows for food to get stuck, risking decay. I kept asking him and the hygienists, "why is this tooth so sensitive now." He told me to use Sensodyne. He knew that the crown was incorrect, but is too cheap and uncaring to fix it. Now I have a crowned tooth, that I paid for and still can not use that tooth. I also had a pregnancy related gum infection. He told me to rinse with salt water, it got worse, and charged me for a follow up when all he told me to do was see an oral surgeon b/c he didn't know how to treat it. Why didn't he do that first! He seems charming and caring, and has a very nice office. But do not be fooled, all he cares about is making more money. I absolutely would never go to him again.

Dr. James D. Walmsley's response
On the rare occasion there is an issue with a crown I will generally work 2-3 times to make an adjustment. If that is not satisfactory I would simply start over and redo the crown. I don't know who this patient is but would be glad to work with them until they are satisfied.
