Dr. Levy is an excellent Optometrist. Never did I feel the examination was rushed. He answered all my questions and explained to me above and beyond the results of the many tests he did. After the exam he then presented to me many options regarding my lenses and never did I feel he was offering me only the expensive brands. I felt very comfortable and impressed with the cleanliness of his office and the equipment he uses for the health testing. I ended up getting the better quality progressive lenses and am now writing this review to express my appreciation for his work well done. Honestly, these are the best progressives I have ever worn.

Hands down the top optometrist out there! This is a family business that was initially started by Dr. Levy senior and its upstanding lineage has been in great hands with his son, Douglas, since the day he took it over. I have been trusting my eyes with the Levy practice since 1995 and close to 25 years later I am still convinced that it has been the best decision I could have made for my eyesight's health. Over the past quarter century I have never felt like just another patient while under the care of Dr. Levy. He talks to you like a genuine friend does and when he asks you questions regarding your eye's vision and health you get the feeling that he sincerely cares about whatever is going on with you. You will feel right at ease the moment you enter his office with the friendly reception staff and throughout the entire checkup. Dr. Levy does not make you feel rushed or that your questions are not important or worth his time. His patience, concern, and overall down to earth demeanor ensures that you will always want to come back! Beyond his affable nature Dr. Levy's knowledge and thorough eye examinations are second to none. You feel like your in the hands of a masterful optometrist that leaves no stone unturned when it comes to the most accurate prognosis of your eyes. I cannot recommend Douglas Levy enough and I will continue to see him as long as he's practicing. Thanks to Dr. Levy and his entire staff for all the years of excellent eye care!

I noticed that my eyesight started changing 2 months ago. I wasn't expecting this type of change this soon. New chapter in my life; bifocals. Dr. Levy was able to explain all the complicated intro kits of how my vision was changing without skipping a beat of all the details of how our eyes work together. He explained this so simple it was though Dr.Seuss was telling me himself. Why did he (Dr. Levy)? Because I wanted to know. His patience persona helps his patients to understand with a clear vision that lies ahead into the next chapter.

He made several mistakes with my prescriptions and refuses to make it right. In fact, he told me to call the insurance company and even the company that made the lenses because he would not do so. He also is very, very expensive.

Great Doctor, very easy to talk to and took the extra time to explain all the tests and results. His office is very clean and seems to have state of the art equipment. The examination was not rushed, very comprehensive and Dr. Levy was able to use my old frames allowing me to save a few bucks. Very impressed and I will return to his office.
