Terrible! She can't sew incisions closed. Mine broke open three times and her staff told me to put a bandaid over it! She put pieces of mesh and materials in me that another plastic surgeon didn't even know what they were! She was supposed to be creating nipples after recconstruction by a difference doctor and I woke up cut from one underarm to the other. AND right through the middle!!! No one does this. The permission sheet had someone elses writing added to mine! Those are only some of the things. I swear this lady is not a plastic surgeon. Stay FAR FAR away!!!!!

My name is Whitney and dr Lacerna performed a 2nd bbl on me and completely destroyed my legs a 24. I’m still dealing with the daily mental turmoil. Even having a little extra belly fat on my natural body was way better than liposuctioning 800CC from each leg on a 5’6 145 pound woman. she created dents and craters all over my legs. Loose skin now after. I still wish to this day I never walked into this woman’s office! She truly destroyed my confidence! Pictures are posted on yelp and on RealSelf. Look at the bad reviews. I wanted a bigger butt and she slaughtered my legs to get the fat. This is a persons life, not just $

What you expect is a surgeon who listens and respects your past surgical experiences as factual so a horrible post op outcome is avoided!
That is NOT what Dr Lacerna does, in fact she ignores any insight provided even when it is a patient who is also a medical practitioner. I told her in front of family and her staff multiple times that my body rejects certain suture material. So 12000 dollars spent, cash and my abdominal surgery after one year remains periodically expelling long pieces of non absorbed sutures! Giant deformities from hip to hip. Moreover as her special patient status, you are initially given her cell phone to "call anytime" but when you have a problem she will not respond!

WARNING: GO TO ANY OTHER SURGEON BUT DR Lacerna!

Dr Lacerna is an Artist I was told, yes agreed RIP OFF ARTIST. Dr Lacerna's skills are marginal, her nurse assistant is a really ignorant bottom of the barrel nurse who is dangerous at best.
Dr Lacerna pays the nurse anesthetist. The CRNAs are fine however consider that if you have a complication (remember you are having controlled poisoning - General Anesthesia - in an OFFICE with absolutely no backup for life support.
If you had a cardiac issue EMS would need to transport you to a hospital!
Now think about it and decide 12000 dollars for a surgery that is supposed to enhance your looks and self esteem performed by an "artist" who does not listen and sews you with whatever suture she has in her "office surgery suite" with a nurse anesthetist and a whacky nurse. WHAT WAS I THINKING??
Learn from my mistakes as over a year later my 12000 dollar abdominal surgery scar looks like and feels like I was operated on by someone that never went to a plastic residency program.
Thanks for making my dream surgery and absolute night and day terror Dr Lacerna! And I am so appreciative of your "personalized" don't give a sh.t don't call with a problem attitude!
All my other surgeries ended up fine as long as I went anywhere away from Dr Lacerna. I hope you enjoy the 12000 dollars I spent on your "artwork" I know I will always think of you when I see my abdominal incision as a great Rip off Artist!

I completely trust DR L..her knowledge is extensive..she has amazing attention to detail....she helped me achieve a refreshed look ..and has helped me feel beautiful and confident. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

Lacerna isn't just a bad Doctor, she is a terrible human being. I almost died at her hands after my BBL surgery. For months I was unable to work or even take care of myself. She refused to take any responsibility for the multiple issues that went wrong during surgery and thereafter. During the initial consultation, Lacerna is very sweet, she complimented me many times and seemed extremely knowledgeable and credible. This is not the real Lacerna. Do yourself a favor, don't put your life at risk at the hands of a surgeon who has had multiple near fatal surgeries.

I had a breast uplift and tummy tuck and I love my new tatas and flat tummy. I'm 70 years old and everything was sagging. Dr. Lacerna did a really great job. My breasts have never been this perky and absolutely beautiful! I feel and look years younger. I love what I see in the mirror. Dr. Lacerna is a very talented surgeon, and I most highly recommend her. The staff was always very helpful, friendly and extremely courteous.
