I have known Dr. Yashari for 19 years now and he delivered my 3 kids who are now 19, 17, and 15 Years old and I just love the fact that he is so knowledgeable, gentle and always gives me the best advice and finally he has always had my best benefit at heart.

I went to Dr. Yashari and with the hopes he could help with my infertility (as he does specialize in it). He's a nice man and probably was very good as an OBGYN, he has not progressed his education with regards to fertility(he is not an RE!!). He panics quickly when something isn't "normal" during a procedure like an IUI and his communication is lacking. I moved to an RE after Dr. Yashari did a procedure on me but had a difficult time discussing the results, and the next steps not to mention I had to repeat the same procedure since Dr. Yashari didn't perform it properly the first time. He just wasn't sure what to do in my case and couldn't set out a plan. It seems he follows one routine for all infertility cases (Clomid, IUI) which just doesn't work out in reality since each couple has their own diagnosis. He's a nice doctor but I wouldn't recommend him.

A superb doctor, the best. For the gyn part, he is exceptionally gentle; I can't even feel it when he does pap smears. Also, for taking care of pregnant women, he is just the best. He inspires confidence and calmness. I had a pretty tough pregnancy that included being hospitalized, but I kept calm knowing that Dr. Yashari was on the case, and everything went well. Also, I felt so calm going into labor since I knew Dr. Yashari would be there. He is kind and extremely experienced and focused. This doctor is the greatest, and I highly recommend him.

Doctor Y-nice but did surgery on me for no reason-if you have fibriods or anything of the sort he is NOT the doctor-he cut me open seven inches-four hour surgery and in the end wanted to give me a hysterectomy-all not needed-went to a fibriod specialist and come to find out that it will be a 30 minute procedure-doctor y may be nice but toally not a professional in many ways-get a second opinion and his staff is so stressed which is another BAD sign-stay away

I'm grateful that I found Dr. Yashari. I was recommended to him because I had trouble getting pregnant. I got pregnant and he made me feel the confidence I needed to deliver my baby in the best conditions I could've hoped for. Kind, attentive bedside manners. Dry humour is a plus as another reviewer pointed out. He did make me go through fertility treatment that could've been shorter and sometimes I feel that the number of patients he has and/or maybe being a grandpa's age make him a little less on top of things that he could be BUT that's also why he's so experienced. I feel that if it had to come down an emergency I would be in the best of hands. I am moving miles away from Santa Monica but will definitely keep him as my OBGYN for my next baby.

I love Dr. Yashari! He was recommended by my PC doc when I found out I was preg with my first baby and he always took the time to explain things and answer any questions I had (often I'd come in with a list to go through). He has a great bedside manner and wonderful follow up care. When I was preg with my 2nd baby I went back to him and at 7 months we moved out of state. I had such a great experience with my 1st that I flew back to CA at 9 months just for him to deliver my 2nd baby. If we get preg again I would definitely consider flying back again to see him.

I hardly ever wait more than 10 minutes to see him. Dr. Yashari is always willing to explain and discuss matters if you ask questions or express concerns. He is a kind, experienced ob/gyn. I just had my first baby and both my husband and I felt very comfortable with Dr. Yashari throughout our prenatal experience. I had to have a c-section and he has since been very good at explaining my healing process. Bonus is his great dry humor.

With the staff, I rate as poor service because they never gave me a receipt for my co-payment, but they did give someone else their receipt and when I was about to say something, that's when the nurse called me in. 2nd, Yashari said that the baby's heart was not beating and that I would need to do D&C with no explanation about nothing to me, so I am so oblivious to what's going on and not really sure about his expertise, so I went to someone else for 2nd opinion.
