I has severe sever preclampsia in my second trimester and noticed I was having symptoms 2weeks earlier. Dr. Breen said o was being narcotic. I delivered 3.5 months early. It was obvious the chair and director of department felt she messed up because they were the only people who would meet with me after I delivered. It was quite clear they thought I was going to sue. We decided to not sue and our little boy is doing very well. Georgetown obgyn has some excellent doctors. Dr. Breen is not one of them. She was very condescending. And completely blew me off when I told her I felt something was wrong.

I really liked Dr. Breen for GYN visits but was not at all pleased with her OB care. Questions about c-section rate and induction policy at 20 weeks were met with "we don't usually discuss that until week 32." And a claim to not know the c-section rate. Very dismissive and condescending. When I switched to another practice after that, G-town screwed me by classifying all of my visits as "ante-natal care" which means that they counted against my deductible and not as regular office visits. $500 for my trouble, despite protestes. I won't go back to Georgetown or Dr. Breen.

Dr. Breen is great! She has been my doctor for 13 years. My mother, aunt and sister see her too. It is true that she is very busy but most "Good" doctor's are busy. Be ready with your questions and she will be heppy to help you.

Dr. Breen was EXTREMELY dismissive and condescending. I am not a very demanding patient, and with the few questions I had she basically blew me off. I had to call friends of mine that are OB's to get answers to my questions. I found the staff to be very busy, but very nice and helpful in contrast.

I was impressed with Dr. Breen's knowledge and depth of research. Even though I was coming in as a new patient to her, she had all my medical history going back as far as college. She seemed like someone I can count on for an honest and direct opinion and accurate diagnosis, she offered me treatment options and informed me of what is available to me. She gave me an excellent first impression!

Dr. Breen was a horrible doctor. She failed to share information about the status of my baby and the course of my pregnancy. She was half-way out the door before I had the chance to ask her questions. She did not respect me, nor my wishes when it came to the birth of my child. Overall: insensitive, abrupt, tries to be your friend and then turns her back on you, dismissive, rushed, unprofessional, a person who puts on a good fascade but then lacks the action to support that she cares about you as a person and patient.

Dr. Breen has delivered 3 of my children. I love her to pieces. I commuted from Manassas VA to see her. She is top notch, with a heart of gold.

I have been seeing Dr. Breen for the last 10 years. She is a fabulous Doctor! She always remembers me, asks how my family is doing, answers any and all my questions, and makes a PAP exam something not to dread. She always makes me feel at ease and we all know how unpleasant a PAP test can be. I just pray that she is the Dr. who delivers my children. Good Doctors are hard to find and OBGYN's are not the type of doctor I want to have to "shop" around for. If you want a friendly, experienced, knowledgeable, gentle, and caring doctor, than Dr. Breen is the doctor for you. Oh and by the way, the reason why it takes a few months to get in to see Dr. Breen is because she as good as I say she is.

Dr. Breen was extremely condescending and sarcastic. She wouldn't let me get a word in to explain or ask any questions. As this was my first visit, I expected to have a bit of an extended conversation with her about my needs, etc. - instead she rushed through the exam and questions so fast I felt that she must have had to be somewhere better. She also didn't give me much time to change and actually opened the door before I had my robe on. As she was giving me my pelvic exam, another person opened the door and walked in. Her humor and the fact that she kept calling me "lovee" was not amusing at all - I felt as though she wasn't taking me seriously. Not only was she a disappointment (why is she ranked in the Washingtonian's top Doctors!?) but her office staff were outright RUDE. E.G., Q. can I make an appointment for my next visit? A. "NO - we only make appts 3 mo out." Q.Can you recommend and internist? A."Just call your insurance." It was ridiculous, a waste of time.
