He used a technique where he swore at my parents and me. this was very upsetting to my mother, who often cried after this tirades. he then would turn to us and say tthis was evidence that our family was dysfunctional. he eventually stopped when we threatened to take our money and go elsewhere. i've worked with several other therapists since, and they've never done anything like this. at the the time we thought that this might be experiment,but now i think it was just weird--not to mention in appropriate and possible unprofessional.

See also comment his wife Melinda. He seemed unable to be assertive without his wife present. They strung us along for months under false pretenses. Never little benefit despite months of work together.
