I took my kids there 2 years ago routinely... Recently I have taken them elsewhere to be closer to home. Their new dentist needed a full mouth x-ray which was taken by Dr. Gibson. I called to see if they would release the x-rays for pick up to take to the new dentist. The receptionist "had problems with her computer" then I was placed on mute... (aggravating!) Once she came back on the phone she let me know that I had a balance... (which I didn't know). Why was I not billed?? The amount is over $150... you'd think they'd like their money! My frustration is that one of my kids needs his x-ray for his upcoming dentist appt. and I don't have the $ to pay for the unknown bill all up front and so therefore they will not release his x-rays! I asked if I could make payments she said yes, but the receptionist (who was listening in on the call) next to her said no... My goodness - I'm so glad I left them

Dr. Gibson has all the trappings of a successful and competent dental practice: Caring staff, beautiful dental office, and picturesque locale in the historic center of Newport, Ky. But let me tell you something, looks aren't everything. Dr. Gibson botched a simple gold inlay procedure on my lower second and third molars on the right side of my mouth. Almost immediately after the procedure, the inlay on my second molar started to come loose and detach. The same thing happened with the inlay on my third molar not long after. Dr. Gibson's approach was to continually glue the inlays back in place. This went on for longer than I care to say. I finally got a clue and went to another dentist and it turns out Dr. Gibson didn't get out all the cavity and that's why the inlays perpetually detached from my molars! Seems like Dr. Gibson should have known better, and now thanks to him I have two crowns on these molars. Didn't have to be that way, but it is due to his incompetence. Avoid!
