Dr. Smith did a fine surgery but unempathetic and acts if he doesn't care. Very defensive if questioned about anything that implies something went wrong with surgery. I am sorry but if you are Dr. and you are in it to "help" people then show some compassion. I won't be going back!

Dr Scott Smith is wonderful . He figured out that my issue was not bursitis of the hip but a tear in the tendon instead and fixed it . It's been 2 and a half months since my operation and physical therapy began after the healing process ( six wks. after surgery) feeling great.... still need a bit of strengthening at home by balancing on one leg and other home exercises which is no problem . I would recommend Dr Scott Smith highly . thank you Dr Smith for figuring out the problem and for helping me !!!! Madalyn Reno

STAY AWAY - do yourself a favor - find someone else - had a HORRIBLE experience - does not know how to follow up in a professional manner. Really disappointed in this "doctor"

He was OK, I had a fairly pleasant experience but he seemed disinterested.

He's condescending to patients and very arrogant. He is extremely unhelpful, even when it comes to basics like brace fittings and explaining test results. I am an adult and I left his office in tears of frustration. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

My wife went to Dr. Scott Smith for an issue she had with joint pain. She waited 40 minutes only to have Dr. Smith treat her as if he had more important things to deal with. She expressed to him her pain and what attempts she made to remedy the situation. Dr. Smith did not make eye contact with her during the discussion (he was looking at the computer which made her uncertain as to whether or not he was paying attention). He made a few belittling remarks which made the entire experience rather uncomfortable. She would not recommend his services to anyone based on his lack of bedside manner. I would encourage anyone who is considering his services to thoroughly research any reviews or options before making your decision.

My husband had an achilles tendon surgery from Scott Smith. Following surgery he needed 3 other surgeries due to his incompetance. He had 3 major infections at the site, all missed by the DR. Then had a 10 inch blood clot in his leg and almost died from a pulm. embolism...both of which he misdiagnosed the day prior at the office visit when he asked about his symptoms. At the ER we heard the same statements over and over..."a 1st year med student should have diagnosed this". He then "dropped" our case and referred us to someone else. My husbands leg will never be the same, nor his lung, nor the veins in his leg (which are bulging with varicose veins that had to carry the burdon of the DVT). It has cost us easily $100K in lost wages, more Drs and surgeries...not to mention future costs.
