Dr. Fox has been my doctor ever since he came to this office many, many years ago. After losing my husband and daughter, I was a mess and in a dark hole for at least 6 years. Dr. Fox was such a big part in getting me through many ups and downs. He is the most compassionate and empathetic doctor I’ve ever had in my entire life and I’ve had many, surviving a car accident I wasn’t suppose to breaking 7 bones with over 100 stitches. Thanks to him I’ve finally recovered and am happy and healthy today. God Bless him. I highly recommend him to anyone lucky enough to hear about him!!! :)

I am so glad I got this survey as I now plan to follow up by doing the same on social media and review sites. About four years ago, thanks to Obamacare, I was able to get health insurance after being denied for several years due to pre-existing conditions. I did not know of any doctors in the area and chose Dr. Fox randomly. Over the next three years, I received the best health care and the Doctor allows for more than ample time with his patients. I can only imagine what my health would be if I had not received insurance and I now know that care is far better with Dr. Fox. Last year, I had moved to Delray Beach. I changed insurance companies last year and did not realize Dr. Fox was not a part of the plan. The difference in care and professionalism between my new doctor and Dr. Fox was off the charts.

This year, I made sure my plan included Dr. Fox, even though I had a higher premium and at least a 35-minute drive to his office. Two months ago I had what turned out to be a MRSA infection. Thanks to Dr. Fox, he found me a surgeon to see immediately after leaving his office which not only avoided an ER visit or hospitalization, but saved me from a more severe bout. On my recent visit, he uncovered another immediate issue that again hopefully will now be minimal. In fact, with the quickest option for a test at the hospital's outpatient center, the admitting clerk mentioned to me how on issues like this she really likes how Dr. Fox is most proactive.

I am so glad that once again, Dr. Fox is my primary. In addition, his current staff is top notch. The office manager Linda is so efficient and professional, especially in the situations where time is of the essence and simply is just a really nice person to deal with. People like Linda are the unsung heroes of most medical offices and I guess usually take all complaints and probably listen to everyone's heartaches which brings them to the doctor (while of course handling this with such compassion while fielding phone calls every other second). She seems to go out of her way to treat with properly and with respect compared to so many other offices. I guess it goes hand and hand with the way you are treated by the Dr. Fox in the exam room. His medical assistant (forgot his name) is also very thorough and caring and you can feel assured you are getting the proper care on his part as well.

At a time when the high cost of insurance and the strain of the medical care system puts so many restraints on your care, it seems Dr. Fox throws most of it out the window by continuing to afford you all the time you need with him, follow up care and phone calls and a terrific support staff. My only concern is what will happen if and when they repeal and replace Obamacare in the case I am still dependent on it for maintaining insurance.

In summary, sometimes you get bad doctors. Other times, you get quality doctors but bad bedside manner. With Dr. Fox, you get the best of both worlds and then some. In this day and age, you can't ask for anything more.

My parents have been with Doctor Fox for over 10 years, and at our visit today I was extremely pleased with the new office staff, and the efficient way the office was run. My parents love Dr. Fox, he really takes his time, listens to all their concerns, and answers any questions I have about their health. The new medical assistant Thomas is a great addition to the practice.

I love Dr. Fox. He has been my Doctor for many, many years. His staff is wonderful. I know the old manager is gone now so there are a lot of new policies. You have to pay your copay and deductible before you see the doctor, but that is the policy of all doctors these days. I have never had a problem getting a referral. This doctor is amazing. Love him! Dr Fox is an excellent doctor. He is courteous, knowledgeable and concerned. Dr Leung was also a very good doctor. I however must find another doctor. I received a threat to be turned over to a collection agency for non-payment of bills. The billing staff had never sent me bills and furthermore they had not submitted a bill to my secondary insurance and three years later, the insurance won't pay, This kind of aggravation is not worth it so I'm moving to a doctor whose staff know how to bill and how to treat patients. As that other person said, a pod of dolphins would do a better job.

Worst experience i have ever encountered. Staffing the Office with a pod of dolphins would be more effective.

Ok, today I was extremely appalled at what happened to me today in Dr. Richard L. Fox office. I am 41 years old and have a lot of health issues. The one that is really a life threatening is my asthma. I could a cold and it caused my asthma to get really bad to the point of not being able to walk a few steps without gasping for air. Dr. Fox is a good doctor but the entire staff is rude and disrespectful. I called for an emergency walk in because i didn't want to go to the hospital. Got to his office and they ask for my insurance card which i happily gave them. I was escorted to a room to wait for Dr. Fox. While waiting a nurse came in and said there was a "grace period " on my insurance, so the doctor wont see me. I said what, my insurance is paid. I called my insurance who told Dr. Fox's nurse I was clear it was an error. Do you know, they didn't see me even though I couldn't hardly breathe. I would have said that's a lie, not Dr. Fox but after today, I realised that money goes way above really caring for us as patients. They actually told me to go to and ER or urgent care. Really? I could have dropped dead! I was in his office in a room and was told to leave. Wow!! I am so sorry for Dr, Fox because he is a good guy but the people around him are sending his practice to the dogs with that staff. Go to their office at your own risk. Sadly I am now looking a new PCP. I wrote this to let others know that in his office you will be left for dead or turned away to die without them feeling any remorse if your insurance makes an error and a rep tells them it was an error and that your insurance is active. No good reviews about this Practice in Tamarac, FL.
