I was seeing this doctor for about 5-6 years and I first started off on Prozac. However, while I was on prozac, I had attempted suicide twice- they were about 2 years apart and he only kept fluctuating my dose of prozac. I started off on 10 mg and went all the way to 80 mg and I told him that I didn't like the medication and he kept insisting I take it. We would only meet for about 10 minutes and he would be the one doing most of the talking. No matter how much I fought to be off prozac, he kept insisting, even making my parents monitor me swallowing it. After he retired, I saw another doctor and I told him about my history while on Prozac and he switch me that session to another antidepressant. I found Dr. Co no help to me.
