I think Dr. Sammer is interested in money rather than the patient. Arrogant, condescending, has a bad attitude and does nothing but send you to a specialist while doing nothing himself except bill for an office visit. Went in with a torn rotator cuff and was told to "go to the convenient care office" (doc-in-a-box). EVERYTHING requires an office visit. Even Rx refills. My personal opinion: possibly the worst doctor overall that I have ever visited.

Went to Dr. Sammer to receive an annual physical and vaccinations. As an aside, I mentioned some erectile dysfunction I was experiencing. When I received Bill, my insurance (Blue Cross) said "denied service, not covered." Basically, the Dr. had put down my ED as the MAIN reason for my visit! I contacted Blue Cross and they said the Dr's. office must re-submit the bill using the correct ICD codes for the visit. I contacted the Dr.'s office and explained everything to them. The Dr. is supposed to call me back sometime this week. All in all a VERY frustrating experience. Needless to say, I will be looking for another Dr. and complaining online for others to be forewarned. If you choose to use this Dr. you had better be sure what he puts down as your current health issue!!
