Dont trust anything they tell you. My husband and I went to dr. ratner last month, and thank goodness we had enough sense to not go back. First off, my cleaning was a disaster, Dr. Ratner did the cleaning, not a hygeniest, and It was such a sloppy job. She cut my gums, to the point where I was so sore the next couple of days. I have never had a cavity in MY LIFE, and i have really good dental care. Well dr. ratner said after looking at x-rays I had 1 possible and maybe another, for a total of 2. Kind of leary of this I went and had a second opinion, and x-rays. NO CAVITIES. I called dr. ratners office and they said she was no longer in business and the practice was turned over. This is another lie. Now, when I am requesting my x-rays from dr. ratner, what a shock, they cant find them and dont have record of me having x-rays. What a disaster, thank goodness I did not have work done by her, she was just looking to make a dishonest dollar. She is a disgrace to medicine.
