Both my beau and I see Dr. Donovan - I have insurance, but he pays out of pocket. He hadn't been to a dentist in 20 years, when he developed intense pain on Christmas eve day. Dr Donovan saw him on an emergency basis just because I am a regular patient. Dr. Donovan was able to treat my beau successfully and compassionately and get him on the path of regular maintenance. His mouth has never felt better. I had old crowns (done by 2 different dentists) replaced by Dr. Donovan and experienced no adjustmet period. They fit perfectly immediately, and I no longer have gum irritation. Dr. Donovan and staff are wonderful, kind people. When my mother died, they even sent me a sympathy card. In the 45+ years I've seen dentists, I've never had a better one. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Great staff and I thought a great dentist until my last visit on January 11, 2011 where I was told to find another dentist because I would not/can not afford to have deep cleanings done as suggested. I was completely thrown for a loop and surprised by such a lack of professionalism by someone I had a high regard for. Dr. Donovan felt it was not in his/my best interest to keep cleaning my teeth when there were much more that needed/could to be done. Granted my teeth are fine and currently have no issues and I would love to have it done but I don't have insurance and pay out of pocket...I just can't afford it. I do what I can but obviously it's not up to his standards. It's a shame because I told many friends and acquaintances how great he was but now see I was wrong. I would like to say his staff is excellent...to bad he turned out to be a JERK!! Don't visit him...he doesn't deserve the business!!
