Horrific, inconsiderate and a horrible communicator. Absolutely no cares or concerns about rather or not he is hurting you, or being to rough. He is unapologetic and extremely rude. I do not know why this man is allowed to practice.

Nightmare. I had deep cleaning (periodontal) done. First, he had me crank my head all the way to the left so he could sit to the side and not have to stand up because he has back issues (NOT standard in a dentist). The procedure itself was rough, he explained nothing. On a routine visit he told me I need very expensive surgery, got aggressive when I pushed back, and only told me about a totally nonsurgical option when I outright refused the surgery. Wish I had never gone, am working on changing providers now.

The doctor didn't arrive until 25 min after my appt time, yelled when I asked a question, had me go to another dentist because of a broken screw but there was no broken screw, has out dated and broken equipment in office and restroom was full of rust deposits in sink. Do not go to this dentist!

Dr Douglas dompkowski is very knowledgeable and capable. Highly reccommended.

The doctor was very rude and abusive in how he handled his staff in front of me and at times was yelling at me while working on me. I would never go back to his office for treatment again and would highly recommend others steer clear of him. He obviously has anger issues and needs some personal help.

I have been to the Rockville office twice. Both times Dr. Dompkowski wasn't yet there when I arrived (on time), and he had to be summoned via cell phone. The first time I met him for about 5 minutes, just long enough for him to introduce himself and take a quick look at my mouth after a thorough cleaning by the excellent hygienist. The second time he never made it to the office in time to see me. After a teeth cleaning that lasted a full 45 minutes, I waited an additional 10 minutes and then simply left. Clearly Dr. Dompkowski does not take the Rockville office seriously. It is not even listed on his web site. Doesn't he realize that he needs to be physically present at this office, not just a name on the door, and that patients need to develop a relationship of confidence and trust with a medical /dental professional? Such a relationship is hardly possible with an absentee doctor. Very reluctantly (because I love the staff, inherited from his beloved predecessor), I have started looking elsewhere.

I was horrified by the way I was treated in that office, by the staff, and the Dr. himself. The staff was rude, unfriendly and confrontational, and in one case, not knowing his job at all. The Dr. was verbally abusive to me, yelled at me when I tried to tell him I was choking, and his actions were violent (snapping off his gloves when he was mad at me for choking and interrupting him; being very rough with my tooth). I was actually afraid of him and made a decision never to return. The entire office seems to be mentally unstable, and it amazes me that they can treat patients that way and expect to maintain a practice.
