This was the worst experience ever.. I bought a groupon for $49 eye exam and $175 frAmes. the place was not open on a Monday and stated they are only open Tuesday-Thursday. So I called to make an ppt and the business that only had available in la jolla. Then when I went, I had my eye exam. After the exam I asked to look at frames, which was part of my groupon. The eye doctor said he recommend I go Costco or Walmart for better deal frames- I had to ask several times if my groupon is for frames.. Finally he said yes, but if I want frames I would have to go the Escondido location.So I called the Escondido location, the receptionist stated that they have a very small selection of frames which are not that good , but if I wanted bifocals it would cost me a min. Of $200 on top of my groupon!!! That is ridiculous for bifocals. She said that I would have to make another appt for weeks away to look at frames because they were busy. I have never dealt with such horrible customer service before.

I am thankful that we found Dr Cohen, his expertise has changed my daughter's life forever as far as her eyesight is concerned. She had to get glasses at age 9, and a much stronger set of glasses the following year. Dr Cohen suggested that she is a good candidate for the CRT treatment of which he was part of the team that invented it. I love new technologies and we decided to go for it. She could not read the big character at the top of the chart without eye glasses. On the first morning after using the overnight contacts she was reading close to the 20/20 vision level. Within a week her vision improved to better than 20/20, and she needs no more eye glasses. She can see a ball coming now, her effectiveness in sport has increased dramatically and there are no damaged glasses to worry about. She does not need to sit in the front row at school anymore, and can see the individual leaves on a tree!!! Thanks Dr Cohen, we are greatful.

I was very happy with Dr Neville Cohen's service and outstanding frame selection. He solved my problem with contact lenses and provided me with outstanding service. I would strongly recommend Dr. Cohen for anyone seeking quality eye care.

called to make appointment. the day of my appointment i called to comfirm and they tell me , i have no appointment. the appointment was set for 4 people. the assistant mellisa was so rude and unprofesstional. she tried to give me a saturday appoitment, when in the first place i had asked for a weekend appointment and she said they dont work on saturday. my appointment was set about 3 wks ago . you would thing that they would have some concern for new patients coming to there practice.and why would they give me 4 new patient appointments when the dr.is out of town.

I am not sure if doctor Cohem likes what he does, he doesn't make sure to take extra care about his patients. Back on December 2010 I had my eye exam they were suposed to call me when my contacts and glases were ready to pick up. After 3 weeks I called them and told me that they had moved to a different office location and that accidently made changes with the insurance, they were no longer accepting my insurance but they never bothered to call me. The staff at that office it's also irresponsible, they don't return calls and put you on hold for too long that they forget they have you waiting on the other line. Very desappointed. I don't think I am going back to this office.

What a terrible Optometrist. I took my eye exam with him in 2009, I can tell he wasn't please to be there, he wasn't mean, but he had this attitude as if he didn't care or didn't want to work there, that's a huge turn off, a Dr. is suppose to care about his patients. Not also that, his eye exam is a joke, he had me read a number chart, and he didn't even tell me I had astigmatism, which I didn't find out until I went to another Optometrist. All in all, he was really no help, I had problems with my contacts he kept trying to put me/sell me CRT Paragon lenses, which were $2000 but never helped me with my contacts. His staff is also a joke and laughably slow; it takes them 2 week to process Contacts, and I had to take my contact lens trial a week after my regular eye exam, which I didn't know why since there is rarely anyone there at the office.
