I cant believe she is still practicing. I was just watching Nurse Ratchet on tv and it made me think of her, looked her up and am not surprised by the reviews. I saw her in 1997 and the level of rudeness, disrespect, and hostility was unlike anything I had ever experienced from a professional. I eventually switched to another doctor before delivery and glad I did.

She delivered my son 17 years ago. Worst experience in my entire life. She yelled and belittled the nurses, yelled at me during delivery. I would never recommend this doctor to deliver your baby!! You won’t have a good experience. She has zero patience or bedside manners. Horrible horrible doctor

Her name says it ALL. She has zero bedside manner and was the worst OBGYN I have had . She works the weekend at Salem hospital on call . My first child she was yelling at me and my mother . It was insane . Made the experience of child birth terrible !! She yelled and me as well as the poor nurses . It was my first child . The epidural worked on side only and fell out . She refused to have it fixed and told me to stop telling her about my back labor .. “ we are here to have a baby not talk about your back pain” she was brutal . That women gave me PPD I know it . My second and third were painful but the staff was awesome . I briefly encountered her but thank god for shift change . She’s a POS. I can’t give her zero stars so she gets the one .

This doctor has no people skills. She is cold, rude and unkind.She is more interested in sleeping than giving good care to me. She didn't listen.

Dr. Savage was the doctor on call the night I went into labor, I had never met her before. I saw Diane Rutan for pre-natal exams, she was amazing. I was admitted at 2am and saw a doctor later that morning. My labor was going smoothly, the pain wasn't bad and I was dilating at a steady pace. After a vaginal exam at 1030am, She told my nurse to tell me I could go for a walk at Plymouth beach and come back in a few hours, of course I didn't, theres no way I was leaving. She then kept insisting she break my water, even though I disagreed. She actually said "I have another appointment at 1pm, we need to get this labor moving". I was so appalled but just let her do her thing, it was my first baby I had no idea what I was doing. I had to push for 4 hours, she was present for a total of 45 minutes. Then when the baby was finally about to come out she was no where to be found and the nurses actually told me the might have to deliver the baby. Worst experience, will never go back to her again.

dr beverly savage was unkind, rude, and not gentle during the exam in any way. when i called her to tell her that i was in labor, she was irritated that i had woken her up. she was very displeased with me that i had chosen not to breastfeed. i hope i never see her again. EVER.
