Peeler repaired my TOF baby at 6 months old. He is the best of the best. He gave us such peace with how confident he was. He will forever be dear to our hearts.

Our three year old son was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Dr. Peeler performed the Norwood, Glenn, and Fontan procedures on our son. We cannot express how thankful we are for Dr. Peeler and his team at Levine Children's Hospital. We met Dr. Peeler when I was 18 weeks pregnant with our son and had just received the news of our son's condition. After meeting him and discussing with him the procedures, my husband and I felt confident that he was the surgeon for us. We were not wrong. Dr. Peeler was excellent and our son is doing well today because of him and his team! He is the best of the best!

Dr. Peeler replaced our 15 year old son's ascending aorta and repaired his aortic valve. We could not be more pleased with Dr. Peeler's results. 9 weeks post-op our son is a "normal", extremely active 15 year old boy. He can do anything he wants. Dr. Peeler is amazingly talented and he surrounds himself with the best of the best.

Our son was born with a large VSD. He had to have open heart surgery at 8 months old to close the hole. I can not put into words how thankful I am for Dr. Peeler and his team. Our son is 100% fixed and will live a perfectly normal life due to Dr. Peeler's amazing talent. If your child needs open heart surgery, seek out Dr. Peeler.

My daughter was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect at age 14. We were devastated. We were able ( with the help of family and friends) consult several doctors all over the country. I was very happy with Dr Benjamin Peeler and his Staff for performing surgery on my one year old son. After the surgery my son has recovered very well and thanks to God and Doctor that everything went very well. Dr Peeler and his staff are highly qualified professionals and they know very well what they are doing and doing surgeries in a highly stressful environment with precision and accuracy speaks about their experience and knowledge on the subject. Dr. Peeler and his staff were very attentive to our son's needs and our needs before, during, and after our son's open-heart surgery. I cannot put into words what a blessing from God Dr. Peeler & his staff are. In September of 2013, I had to have open heart surgery. It was actually my 3rd. My pulmonary valve had started to narrow from my previous surgery & was causing my heart to have to work too hard. Dr. Peeler went in & replaced my pulmonary valve. Not only is he skilled, but he is wise as well. They originally thought they were going to have to repair my aortic valve as well because it had enlarged from the excessive work it was having to do, but well doing the surgery, Dr. Peeler made a judgement call that it was not worth the risk to repair it at that time & he believed the aortic valve would in essence fix itself once the pulmonary valve was replaced. It is now March 2014 & I have had numerous tests showing that Dr. Peeler made the right call. I would trust my life & anyone I love in the hands of Dr. Peeler. He is a phenomenal surgeon & you KNOW that he cares about each & everyone single one of his patients.

We couldn't be more pleased with the way Dr. Benjamin Peeler handled our son's surgeries. His heart was very damaged at the time of surgery which wasn't expected when Dr. Peeler went in to do the procedure. His heart stopped 3 times during the first surgery and during the second, it wouldn't start twice after coming off bypass. Dr. Peeler was going to put him on the machine that will keep his heart pumping and once he went to transfer him to that machine, his heart started working on its own. Although this has never happened to Dr. Peeler before with this specific type of surgery, he knew exactly what to do and handled it perfectly. We are so thankful to God that he led us to Dr. Peeler who helped save our little boy's life.
