Dr. Jane is by far the most caring and honest Doctor I have ever seen. He makes sure you are part of all decisions and is very forthright about what to expect. His entire staff shares the same wonderful qualities.

Dr. Jane Jr. is the best in his field. I email him before I actually met him and he answered all my questions clearly for many months before surgery. I finally flew to UVA and had my surgery and it was very successful. He is like an angel! My family and I owe him forever! Acromegaly Patient

This is a doctor who will always remain in my heart. A superior doctor and human being. I thank him for all he did for me. He gave me ten years of a pain free life and would have had longer but but took care of elderly relations and too much lifting. Hopefully I will meet a neuro-surgeon in Tennessee that will at least come close to this excellent man. God Bless You Dr. Jane. Gloria Hayes

Dr John Jane Jr was very responsive. I actually sent him a message and he called the next morning to review my options explaining the rationale for pituitary tumor surgery. I was apprehensive but his balance of professionalism and caring have me confidence that he was my best choice. The surgery went extremely well and the follow-up with Dr Jane and the UVA staff was excellent. I had researched the best surgeons and pituitary centers across the nation and ultimately UVA was my decision. Dr Jane along with support from the ENT and the Endocrinology staff worked as a team to address my medical issues. I'm sure some of the other national clinics and neurosurgeons are excellent but my experience with Dr Jane Jr was excellent and worth consideration if you need his expertise.

Dr. John Jane performed surgery on our 4 week old premie in 2005. He inserted a shunt and continues to follow her care. They don't come any better than Dr. Jane and Sarah Robers!

1/26/11 5 5 5 5 I have a wonderful miracle named Junior Wimer!!!! Dr. John Jane, Jr is an AWESOME Doc!! He saved my husband on many occassions with surgeries that surely would have ended his life! He never gave us false hope when we had very little and he was always giving us the truth, and not just saying what we wanted or needed to hear...My husband spent many months at UVA and soon we grew to love all the care that Dr. Jane was giving to Junior..He's truely given my family a miracle on many occassions and w/o his wonderful hands and knowledge I would not be able to see my best friend and husband everyday!! We continue to use his services and will continue to do so in the future!! Anytime we have a problem, Dr. Jane or Sara RObers always gives me a call back with a few minutes of my call..I know that Dr. Jane will never know how much he does, but we are forever greatful that we met him in the ER at UVA on an unforgetable Monday morning many years ago!!! THANK YOU DR. JANE FOR MY MIRACLE!!!
