What else can I say other than he is a great surgeon, my pre surgery visit was super informative and he actually drew out the surgery on paper so I could better understand. I was born with crazy high arches and was walking on the side of my feet, but now after my surgery I feel I am walking better and wilt less pain. It took a while to see the benefits from the surgery, but I’m glad I went through with it in the end.

He was referred by my neighbor friend and I had to wait 5 weeks for an appointment with him for my heel pain. He is extremely busy and was running a few mins late, but his staff let me know about the delay and he apologized when he came into the room, which was okay and I understand that sometimes docs run late. The visit was brief and to the point, he laid out the treatment plan and the various steps needed to get pain free. He was polite and friendly, and we started with the most basic treatment of arch support and leg stretching and icing, but I did much better after getting the steroid injection and therapy. We discussed surgery as option, but we both decided it wasn’t for me as I’m about 90% better and I don’t think I’ll need another injection (I hope not). He really knows how to treat foot issues and he is confident in his plans, and he was right about that with me. After being in pain for over 2 yrs, I’m actually doing pretty good now after just a few visits with him. Keep up the good work.

Dr Raigaga explained completely what he was gong to do for my surgery and what my recovery would be like. He has exceeded all of those expectations. Surgery and recovery have been better than he indicated. I know a cautious timeline was given but there have been no surprises. He has always spent as much time with me as needed and I never felt rushed by him at all. He answered all of my questions and never made me feel any of them were above him to answer.

I visited Dr. Kumar after a motorcycle accident where I fractured my foot and had a chronic wound for over 1 month. I felt he took a keen interest in my care and cleaned my wound, treated my fracture, and eventually healed my wound with a skin graft that was done in the office. I am very happy with the results and outcome, and appreciative of the efforts of Dr. Kumar. My only critique, is that it took over 5 weeks to get healed, but I was told that the swelling from the fracture and my smoking slowed down my wound healing. I'm still a bit swollen and have a large scar, but at least I still have my foot, thank God!

I am part of the Army Tricare insurance program, and I have been to many foot and ankle specialists in the past. I have never met a doctor who had taken time with me and made me understand my condition fully and made me comfortable with him immediately. I ended up getting some new orthotics and 1 cortisone injection and now I am finally comfortable afterhaving pain for about 7 years. I am happy I have met him and I hope when I am transfered again, I can have another foot and ankle specialist like Dr. Raigaga.

good listener, xrayed my foot and found a heel spur, he fashioned an orthotic for my heel pain which reduced the pain greatly and with periods of rest during the day and light use of my foot the inflamation went down in 2 weeks.he prepared a cast for a permanent orthotic which takes 4 to 6 weeks to be ready, not received it so far. Highly recommend him.

I've never encountered such a readily accessible physician in my life. His stellar knowledge and conservative approach saved my mother's foot. I wish I could clone him into every needed specialty.

I take my elderly mother to him for chronic wounds that she gets on her feet. He has been able to heal these wounds when others had recommended amputations. He worked with our primary care doctor and when he discovered that my mother had poor circulation, he recommended a vascular consult (Dr. Motarjeme) that eventually healed the wounds and saved my mother's feet. I am very grateful to him for his care. He returned my urgent phone calls promptly, even on the weekends.
