We began our journey at a very difficult place and we have found hope and healing through Dr. Kaufman’s care. My daughter has been seeing Dr. Kaufman for the past 4 years. Dr. Kaufman is caring and companionate in her work. She has guided our family to finding the right medications and treatment. I cannot say enough about how devoted and hard-working she has been, not only for my daughter, but also in helping me see what needed to be done to help my daughter. We are so happy for all the help we have received in finding a future for our family.

Dr. Kaufman's experience, patience and skills have helped offer my child stability within a complex clinical picture of multiple diagnoses. She has had accurate medication recommendations, and been very flexible with how my child has been able to participate, carefully guiding them to acceptance of their diagnosis, and full participation in their own care.

Dr. Kaufman has been my son's Psychiatrist for the last 5 years. My son has several co-existing conditions (bipolar, ADHD, autism spectrum, etc). Dr. Kaufman was so great at discussing all the elements in play (therapy, medication, personality, home environment, school changes, IEP, etc) and helping us evaluate at what points medication changes made sense. We would then collaborate together regarding medication changes and resulting behavioral changes, etc. She is such a great mix of calm and consistent, and firm with boundaries when my son needed it during a session. If our insurance had not changes, we would have stuck with her. I love her as a Psychiatrist and a person.
