Dr. Tandon is a fantastic doctor. She is warm, kind, intelligent and a great listenter. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis and could not find an endocrinologist willing to treat me until my TSH was >5. They basically told me to wait until my immune system destroyed my thyroid completely, before bothering to come back. Dr. Tadon carefully reviewed my symptoms and thyroid numbers and agreed I needed levothyroxine. She is the only endocrinologist to do an ultrasound of my thyroid gland and as a result, discovered several nodules that she is monitoring. She takes interest in my other health problems and sends notes to my PCP. I feel very comfortable with her managing my endocrine health and have referred other friends to her practice.

My thyroid issues were unusual and Dr. Tandon was both patient, and compassionate with my issue. I am actually a patient who needed to try compounded thyroid because another health issue of mine caused me to have trouble with the standard forms of thyroid medicine. Dr. Tandon helped me to explore the compounded medication with frequent thorough testing so that we would get excellent feedback on what was working. Dr. Tandon is a rare gem, a knowledgeable, caring, professional doctor.
