Was rude the first time we met for me being about 15 minutes late (I will admit that's my fault, but also I've been going to Kaiser for over 20 years and doctor's being late is extremely common with Kaiser) and then a few appointments later was about 35-40 minutes late and didnt even feel the need to apologize.

She was quick to prescribe medication (my condition was already diagnosed but she did still double check to make sure the diagnosis is correct, which is good) and when that medication wasnt working properly (it was an ointment that would not stay in my eye and therefore couldn't actually function), each successive appointment involved her giving 1-2 pieces of new advice to get the medication to stay in my eye properly. If she gave me all those pieces of advice on the first appointment, I'd be a lot less upset, but each appointment comes with a copay so the cost was adding up. Finally, after 5 or so appointments of this back and forth, I asked if there was any other medication that could work. She said there was, but she wouldnt prescribe it to me when I asked her to because Kaiser doesnt cover it and it's expensive to get out-of-network (she said $60 for a 1 month's supply of the eyedrops. Not cheap, but definitely unaffordable. Especially when the alternative is something that doesnt work).

All this, along with a general "I'm better than you" attitude, has made me start looking for another doctor. Cannot recommend her at all
