I appreciate the Adult & Child Foot & Ankle Care, LLC seeing me on short notice and then not having to wait anytime after I checked in. The staff and Dr. McMahon were very friendly and professional. The procedure I had done on my foot wasn't painful at all. I would recommend this office to family and friends that are needing a podiatrist. Thank you Suzanne K., Powhatan VA

Dr. McMahon is not only a great podiatrist but is also knowledgeable about how the different "body systems" relate to one's overall health. He is VERY smart and he LISTENS.
His staff is to die for. As a retired President & CEO of a statewide company, I would have killed to have some of his staff associated with the company. They're all patient, professional and knowledgeable.

After seeing 2 other specialists I thought I'd never run again. I visited Dr. M and he systematically figured out what was wrong with me and ended up repairing a significant torn ligament in my ankle and a stretched tendon. Through careful surgery and rehab under his supervision I am back running again and competing. I never thought this was possible. He gave me my life back. Very thorough, good listener and excellent caregiver/problem solver. HIGHLY recommend.

I only sat down for a minute and was called right back to a room. I did not have to wait more that 2 minutes for the doctor to come in. He took the time to listen to me and my concerns as I was getting a second opinion. He gave me alternative things I could try since I was trying to avoid surgery. He gave me the odds of the alternatives working and I chose to try to them. And I can say 3 months later, I feel like I have new feet without the surgery. Dr. McMahon is very knowledgeable and I recommend him greatly. As a bonus, his staff is friendly and helpful.

Staff was excellent! Due to traffic issues, I was arriving late on the first appointment. I called and the staff worked to get me in shortly after I arrived thus avoiding an additional day off from work. Procedure (in-grown nail removal) quick and painless. Even the numbing needles (which I dreaded) were given in such a way that I felt no pain. Doctor and staff very informative, efficient, and professional. I could not have asked for a better experience.

I was a patient of Dr. McMahon's when I broke my ankle out of state. He completed my follow up care after surgery in TN. He and his staff are caring, compassionate and professional. He never made me feel like he was rushed to get to the next patient. I would highly recommend his practice to anyone in need of foot and/or ankle care.

I am very pleased with how well Dr. McMahon interacted with my child. She had a plantars wart on the bottom of her foot which was very painful. He did what he could do for her that day to make it more comfortable for her (shaving it down and giving a cushion) until we could have the procedure done to remove it. My daughter was given a topical cream for numbing to use before the procedure was done. I was surprised of how well it all went. She was very scared but, never felt a thing. We were in and out and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
