Experience with Dr. Patel was satisfactory. However, after our second vis it to the office I realized why they have two waiting rooms... it's so that during your 2-3 wait (typical time frame as told by two staff members) to see the Dr. you at least get the impression that you are making progress when you are moved to another room. Absolutely rediculous to schedule people for an appointment knowing they will have to wait hours to see the Dr. .

Dr. Patel has been taking care of my father for close to a year now and from the first visit along with all the surgeries, my father has been in the best hands of any Ophthalmologist I know. The staff has always been caring and personable. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel for anyone who is in need of retinal specialist. Thank you Dr. Patel for taking such good care of my father.

My experience with Dr. Patel and his staff has been nothing but wonderful. I have always felt that my care and comfort was his priority. Thanks to Dr.Patel, my vision has been restored. For anyone with a retinal detachment, he is your man.

I find that the staff is not that friendly. From the time you walk in to the time you walk out you feel like you have been through a meat market. The nurses as well as Dr. Patel do not take the time with you to fully discuss or answer your questions when you have been diagnosed. I have possibly wet macular generation or Central Serous Retinopathy but they can give me no answers as to why or how...only being told we will watch it & you may have to have shots done in your eye....flat & unfeeling. You ask them what they are looking at or to explain what they are seeing & you are basically given a yes or no answer. Your eye sight is very important & when you have questions you want your doctor to at least give the impression that he cares... Dr. Patel does not seem that way... I leave there with tears in my eyes for feeling that I was just another check off his list and on to the next patient.... I would not recommend him. Looking for a second opinion

From the minute I walked in the door Dr. Patel's staff was helpful. Dr. Patel's assistant was kind and explained everything she was about to do from putting drops into my eyes, to looking into my eyes. I was very nervous and she was very understanding. When Dr. Patel came into the room to do further test he explained everything he was doing in detail, very knowledgable. I would recomend Dr. Patel to everyone. Thank you Dr. Patel and staff.

Dr.Patel does not put his patient interest first. When i asked a question regarding my care, he told me that I should be happy he found the retinal tears. He also does not think about his patients comfort. After the laser surgery no one washed the gel out of my eye nor gave me any eye drops. I had to drive home(25+ miles) using one eye. In addition, when I changed DRs, another retinal tear was found just a week after visiting Patel. The second Dr's assistant wash the gel out of my eye and gave me drops to sooth the irritation and dark glasses for the ride home.
