i have been seeing dr harwood for several years and have had two major surgeries and one minor one on my joints. he is excellent about explaining options and takes his time with his patients to make sure they have all their questions answered. Because of the time he spends, expect to wait as much as a couple of hours but he is worth the wait, I thought his staff rude at first, but the are just trying to keep things running as smoothly as possible and have been very helpful when necessary.. i always reconnend him when asked.

I am one month out from total knee replacement by Dr. Harwood. I am 99% recovered and better than I have been for 30 years. He also did my hip. He is the BEST surgeon you can find period! Great to communicate with.

I have seen Dr. Harwood on and off for the last 10 years. I have always found it very easy to communicate with Dr. Harwood. He has a very pleasant attitude and will take the time you need to explain procedures to you. I have always felt in good hands with him. I had a medical situation that developed after another doctor did surgery and Dr. Harwood explained his diagnosis, and then referred me into Stanford for a second opinion. He was right on target for his diagnosis. What I really liked was that he was not afraid to send me to someone else to confirm the situation. I highly recommend Dr. Harwood. I have not had to visit his office recently, so I am not familiar with his current staff. However, my experience with his staff was good and I had no complaints at that time. He has a beautiful office in Morgan Hill - It can be a little difficult to find, so get directions.

Dr. Harwood is a great doctor and very informative. His office staff is rude and difficult to deal with in person or on the phone.
