He recommended an extremely dangerous spinal surgery, then changed his mind and scheduled a different type of treatment. Then he cancelled this treatment and recommended the surgery again. After that, I spent several days ill and at a level 8 pain with no follow up as to what to do. I could not contact him or reach him and his staff was unhelpful. I eventually had to seek care with another doctor.

this Dr. didn't stand up or shake my hand when I came into his office. I walked in to his open office & there was no info about my case. He had an arrogant look on his face after telling my spouse what was going on. The Dr. chose to speak to my male spouse instead of me and when I had a question or comment the Dr. would smirk at my significant other like I was "being a silly woman." When I asked what to do next he said he had no idea because often "Dr's just don't know what to do for every case." I have been in some serious pain; losing vision, becoming dizzy, falling over.... But all of that isn't something he cared about... He won't help me. Won't suggest treatments. Nothing. He was only able to tell me "what it was not." It's not even that this person is blunt, I can take blunt. And neither was he "not comprising" on his expert opinion. He was just SO completely apathetic, arrogant & seemed truly against females that I'm irritated, frustrated. & he has 15 civil suits against him!

My experience is extremely and sadly similar to the other comments. I'm not sure why the man still practices medicine. Maybe we cared about his patients in the past, but he doesn't now and neither does his staff.

Dr. Ott was very rude and impersonable. He did a glycerol injection for my trigeminal neuralgia. Something went wrong and he refused to take any accountability for it. He blamed me for how i reacted. I would NEVER reccommend him to any one. You can easily find a better neurosurgeon.

I researched this doctor and he has the credentials, but he has lost his goal to help patients. He cancelled 2 times ,moved from office to office ,was hard to get in and then could not help me! His staff is rude and uncaring. I wasted 2 months of my time trying to see this doctor.

Poor bedside manner. Wouldn't listen. I ended up in the emergency room and was later hospitalized after he operated on me and released me to go home. I would never recommend this doctor.

He did my Chiari and TN decompression incorrectly and when I tried to tell him that I was having problems he yelled at me that he did nothing wrong, go home and heal. There is nothing wrong with you. I found out that I did have something wrong and it is called "slumping brain". I had to go to another doctor to have it corrected. He has a TERRIBLE bed side manner. He will not listen to what you have to say. I also had to have the Trigeminal Neuralgia decompression corrected and now I am left with Anesthesia Dolorosa for the rest of my life. Another doctor tried to correct that surgery. I do NOT suggest this doctor to anyone. I also had a CSF leak that had to be corrected due to Dr. Ott.
