I have been a patient of Dr. Wolfson for approximately 12 years. I would highly recommend him as an extremely qualified and professional cardiologist. He is excellent at providing thorough and thoughtful explanations that I could easily understand for procedures that I have needed and completed over the years. He has always patiently explained test results and answered all questions that I have had. When required by my other non-cardiac medical needs, he has fully and timely cooperated with my other physicians. His support staff in the two offices I have visited have always been very professional, courteous, and helpful.

I would recommend Dr. Wolfson to anyone who is seeking a knowledgeable, caring, friendly Cardiac professional. He greets you with a calming presence and reassures you that he will devote whatever time it takes to help you in the best way possible. I trust his diagnostics and will continue to remain a loyal patient.

I had a very poor experience with Dr. Wolfson and I am obliged to share with this experience anyone actually considering his care. First, let’s discuss the most egregious part about Dr.Wolfson and it has to do with his bedside manner, primarily an inability to listen and heightened sensitivity. Since when does using the word “timeout” equate to being spoken to like a child? As I tried to explain multiple time to Dr. Wolfson but to no avail, I was simply asking for a pause so I could speak (apparently your thoughts do not matter here). From there things escalated further and got rather heated, but as I stated to Dr. Wolfson there are boundaries that I will not allow anyone to cross, nor will I allow anyone to speak to me disrespectfully, doctor or not. As for the actual care, I was not satisfied with this either (not sure which is more damaging the manner, or the care provided). Dr. Wolfson ordered four standard tests and one of them came back negative. However, to my surprise he could not give a proper diagnosis as to why I had been experiencing interment chest pain and shortness of breath (stress, really?). Over 20 years of practice and this is the best that you can do along with prescribing Crestor? Anyway, after I consulted with my internal doctor, he recommended that I insist on a CT Angiogram. Dr. Wolfson was of the opinion, why and that this procedure was not necessary. Fortunately, unlike Dr. Wolfson, I have complete confidence in my primary care and got the test performed. The test did reveal that I have a something more serious that needs further serious medical attention. So again, I cannot be any more adamant, but I do not recommend Dr. Wolfson to anyone for the significant reasons stated above, didn’t listen, didn’t trust his decisions and did not feel respected.
