I only took one star because she’s so popular ... she’s busy :)

My husband and I really love Dr. Jenkins ... and I, too, am surprised at the one really negative review of her. If you want an idea of how many people think she’s an awesome doctor ... try to get a new patient appointment with her! I’ll give you a hint ... you won’t ... because she is always carrying a huge list of patients like me and my husband, who’ve been her patients for close to 15 years now ... who would never want to be without her.

I, too, have pushed back on her ideas on occasion. I have a very strange body (let’s put it this way ... to give you an example ... I’m allergic to hydrocortisone, Benadryl, and epinephrine .... the first three things they reach for in the ER if you come in having a severe allergic reaction to something) and I’ve had to learn things about “me” along the way ... and she is always willing to listen to my past experience.

She is also very willing to say “I have reached the end of my training on this. Let’s get a specialist involved” when she’s hit that point with my strange health issues. In other words ... I’ve never seen her let ego get in her way ... which is a compliment that I can’t give every doctor.

If she was taking new patients, I’d say “give her a try!” ;-)

Terrible doctor. The worst I have ever been to. Unknowledgeable, refuses to listen and uncaring. I was completely misdiagnosed by this doctor over something very serious. I immediately went elsewhere and was properly diagnosed & treated. The worst doctor ever.
