This doctor punctured my fathers artery during a stent placement when he was having a heart attack at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, CA. After several hours in the catch lab the doctor came out to report that my father was combative during the procedure so they heavily sedated and intubated him. He said his arteries were too far gone and this is what we should expect at his age. We were told later by a nurse that his artery was punctured. My father passed away. We have been left, confused and in shock. He was very active, enjoying his daily activities, came into the hospital, fully conscious and aware. Had had a clean bill of health with routine cardiology appointments. I am only telling half of the story. The doctor changed approaches to recover my dad’s heart after this procedure 3 times in one day. He was not socially skilled at all and the way he communicated with us was hurtful. we have been traumatized by the whole ordeal and lost our beloved family member. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Emmanuel Papadakis dissected my circumflex artery and proximal right coronary damaging my anatomy because by attempting to intervene on a 0.5 mm artery, this is considered a Sentinel Event. I will never recommend this doctor touch anyone!
