I found him so personable and accessible compared to other psychiatrists. He worked with me on my medication until we got it right.

This psychiatrist changed my prescription and did not follow up with me for 10.5 weeks. Then he refilled with the wrong medication, which he realized while confirming the order with me on the phone. Instead of advising me that the wrong medication had been ordered and then fixing it, he assured me that he had ordered the correct medication (I questioned him because he started off confirming the wrong medication.)So I go to pick it up and it is the wrong one. I had an incredibly difficult time (and spent hours) getting it changed to the correct medication.He later admitted that he had known at the time of our conversation that he had ordered the wrong medication. He said that sending the order in to Kaiser was too hard and that he couldn't fix it and that I was the one who needed to fix it. I can't write my own prescription! When his supervisor tried to discuss it with him he claimed he could not discuss it due to HIPAA. How convenient. I am complaining to the medical board.
