I am sad to see that he was found dead. He was good to me and always tried to help. But there were a lot of heavy medications prescribed that I didn't need to take.

God rest his soul.

I put knowledge on Dr. Rawlings only. That staff was seriously from the twilight zone. There's two of the main ding dongs left there and Dr that replaced him is from the twilight zone. I got called in 6 refills of all my meds when appt I had scheduled had to be cancelled because he was going to be out of town. I lost alot of weight with him and he really didn't have me on anything I hadn't already been taking. Now every once in a while there was some fruitcake med thrown in but use your judgement. I really liked Dr. Rawlings and who retires and disappears at 40? He was young and had a good practice going. He was always kind and took his time with me. I only had one time I waited beyond what. I thought was reasonable. I called him Phil and ask him what he was doing making me spend so long there and apologized sincerely and we laughed. I hated the staff and like the nurses. I can't believe he's gone. I seriously think he fled the country before it all hit the fan. Idk but I wish I did. The whole thing is very strange and odd

My doc for 10 yrs now. He is just gone people hope you got your refills. If not be ready for COLD TURKEY A BRICK WALL CAUSE WE ALL GOING TO HIT IT. I KNEW THE DEAL I HAVE NOBODY BUT ME TO BKAME but how can you just walk away. Guess you made your money and it's ti.e to dip. Between me and another family member we use to have combined 390 heavy meds. So if your reading this, you may want to police yourself if you there are no more refill coming your way. HE GONE and I 5hought people could seize or die cold turkey. Conserve....

I would love to know why he left so abruptly. Did he o.d. someone.? I know people with terminal cancer who aren't prescribed the way my husband was. I thank God my husband still alive. Yes he gets GREAT ratings.......have you ever looked at the people in the waiting room? Some are obviously strung out....my husband has back problems, and has slept the last 4 years on his cocktail of morphine ,perocet, xanax ,soma, oh and colanapan to help him sleep at night. He is just gone people.....and his replacement has let his staff know to tell all of us who have seen him for years (Rawlings) that he doesn't write pain meds. It was a crazy ride.....ever notice if you had say the flu, a fever , you were always told to go to urgent care? I wonder what the real story is. They say he decided he wants to do other things.....I've never known any doc that gave out sooo many pills.

I was a patient of Rawlings for about 8 years. I tolerated the enormous wait time (expect to spend the whole day there!!) and the rude nurse who would never call you back because I really like the doctor. He took his time talking to me and listening to my complsints. I really started feeling my best ever but then....I went to see a neurologist. I went to the neurologist because of blackouts and loss of time. When the doctor read my medication list he immediately told me he would not treat me and still won't see me until this day! It forced me to look at all my medications and realized I was on 19 DIFFERENT PILLS! I called poison control to verify if these medications were safe. They immediately put a doctor on the line who said they were surprised I was even alive and no wonder I was having serious problems. When I told Dr. Rawlings what had ocurred he immediately told me he could no longer be my doctor and walked out of the room. Nurse came in and told me I had to leave the property immediately. I started going through withdrawal and he called in a medication that was for alcoholics to get off alcohol....I didn't drink. I got so bad I had to go to rehab for over a month to get all those medications out of my system. I trusted this man literally with my life and he almost took it from me. ;

My husband chose this Dr as his "Primary Care".1st strike - don't call when you're sick needing to see a Dr soon - staff will lie and say there aren't any appts for 2 months out, when the person that transferred you said there was one the next morning at 9:30. 2nd, your spouse is not allowed in the examining room, not even for a common cold or a visit just to get your maintenance scripts refilled. Nursing staff is friendly, office staff needs to ask be replaced.

I like dr Rawlings I really do but I would have to say I wouldn't recommend this office of you have genuine health needs. If you're a pill popper looking for an easy writing dr, he's the one. However, if you have real needs, his office isn't qualified for treatment. He is but the rest of his staff isn't.

Dr. Rawlings is the only doctor who didn't want to put me on an antidepressant when i am not depressed. I am healthier than I have ever been. I have started a paleo/ketogenic diet and am losing weight and no long have panic attacks or anxiety. He has been a family doctor for a while and I am so impressed and pleased with him.
