Great doctor, understanding, listens to your concerns and is attentive to your issues. Extremely knowledgeable, caring and adaptable to a patient's needs.

Only hit against her is that she can be a bit of a 'soft-touch', so if you need a doctor to stay on you like a Drill Sargent in order to manage some chronic condition, then 1) grow up and accept responsibility for yourself 2) Find another doctor who can yell at you for being an idiot.

I absolutely loved seeing dr valka! I only saw her for about 3 years but in that time she was able to help me conceive my first child! I will be forever grateful to her for this! she is extremely personable and listened to me unlike any doctor before/after her.

She was my primary care doctor for almost 10 years. Great doctor if you do not have any major chronic issues. She's not as much of a 'hard ass' on those who --need-- a doctor to be hard on them, that's my only knock against her.

I love Dr. Valka. She is very nice and she treated me wonderfully during my pregnancy and treats my little girl just as great now being her pediatrician. The only thing that bothers me is the office wait. Granted we only wait in the waiting room for around 15 minutes but once we get into the room we wait anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half and its ridiculous with a 4 month old. I also don't like that she does not administer my daughters shots, her nurses do and they then proceed to pin my daughter to the table which freaks her out and makes the shots even worse for her. Other then that I love Dr. Valka and have recommended her to a lot of people :)
