She always spends a lot of time with me and is conservative in her diagnosis. She researches before meeting with you and cares about you as a human being. She's the best PC I've had in 20 years.

She is an amazing Dr if you are dealing with a sore throat or something simple. Even a Migraine causes her to have to check with someone else. She has tendency to run her nurses off really quick. She comes across super nice but when she shuts that door she is a totally different Dr to her staff. If you just want a friendly pat on the back and to get treat for something simple she is great but if you want a Dr that will be there for you no matter what find another one fast!!!

I have a severe long-term illness and most of my experience with primary doctors has been positive. Dr. Jacobs initially seemed, as another reviewer said "nice" and also competent, but over time and after nearly a dozen visits, I am a much sicker person than when we began. If you are a well person and need an annual ckup, perhaps she is fine but otherwise, I found her to be arrogant, dispassionate, closed-minded (I have diagnoses from 2 major national hospitals but she refused to accept that and said "the clock starts with me." Her staff (with the exception of Diana, who is very kind and competent) is sadly also quite rude and incompetent and like her, even abusive. 2014 has been a terrible year in my 13-yr battle with this disease.

I really, really like Dr. Karen Jacobs. She is so very nice, friendly, caring and has a great sense of humor. I have a boatload of health problems and prescriptions to take and I've had no problems. She also does osteopathic manipulation therapy (kind of like low-velocity chiropractic) which is really difficult to find. Everyone on the staff is *extremely* nice and helpful. If my health problems didn't keep me home, I'd want to work with the folks there. The place is also very clean, shiny, and new. It also has a kiddie section (with TV) in the waiting room.

I was very satisfy with the care that was given by Dr. Jacobs and was saddened when I received the noticed that she was leaving the area that I reside in. So I have decided that I will go were she is practicing.I have also informed my daughter who lives up that way to also give her a try.
