I called the office for an old filling that had chipped. He was able to fit me in the same day. I had noticed months before discomfort in one of my other teeth while brushing. Dr.Fitzgerald reviewed my xray, and noticed I an issue with that tooth. I needed a root canal. I was ok with his findings, cause of the discomfort I was having. His bedside manner is wonderful. This was my third time ever seeing him over 4 years. Each time I felt at ease in his chair, so relaxed I almost fell asleep. I do wish part of the office was a bit more tidy. I phoned the office later with a concern. He called me back after his office hours whick was really nice.

I have gone to Dr. Fitzgerald for over 10 years. He is excellent. He tells you what you need, and does it, nothing else. His staff is always helpful and compassionate. At one point I left the practice because they were just too busy. I found dentists who told me I had a cavity every time I saw them and or immediately told me I needed very expensive dental work. To compare, Dr. Fitzgerald only seems to find a cavity about every 3 years or so and will point out the option of dental work but you can just see his heart isn't in it unless he thinks it is really necessary. I trust him to both do a good job and not fleece me. His practice is very busy (I would say he sees about 15 people a day) but I never get the impression he is rushing with me. Also, I feel he has quite the experience given how many people he sees per year.
