I had a very difficult experience with this office and this doctor. I would not recommend you see this doctor and practice because of my consistently negative experiences and lack of compassionate care and understanding. This pandemic has been stressful enough and this office did not care for my well being. I was running low on prescriptions and called multiple times for refills. They said they had sent refills to my pharmacy several times. All of those times I went to the pharmacy, the pharmacist said they did NOT receive the refill order, even after the office said that they would send it. I was down to very little medication and had to call them with an emergency situation and they showed little to no care. They are unprofessional and are not consistent with my care. I would recommend you look elsewhere for treatment and support because this office lacks both.

I accompanied my aunt and uncle (who has Alzheimers) to their appointment. They were only 10 minutes late and TURNED AWAY!!! They have mobility issues and their medical transport never arrived; therefore, I rushed to help them as they have been waiting 2 months to see them for much needed meds to help with a dire, desperate situation at home. Their secretary even pleaded with the Doctors on their behalf! They wouldn't even show their face to see us in the waiting room. A psychiatrist with NO HUMANITY ? Not worth your time! Sending this couple away with no help, no meds and an offer to come in a MONTH? UNACCEPTABLE! Especially after the difficulty it took for them to get to their office. It was a CRUEL injustice. Medicare says a formal complaint won't matter because as a private practice, they can do whatever they want. DO NOT EVER CONSIDER this married couple's practice: SAY NO TO Gloria and Max Cardozo. NO HUMANITY! SAD SAD day for psychiatry.
