We have used Dr Adema for vision therapy which was so successful in a short period. Dr A helped our daughter gain confidence in her schoolwork within months. We also use him for yearly eye checkups. Dr A is very thorough and professional with a fun witty sense of humor. His staff has always been very efficient and helpful. We highly recommend him.

I paid for vision therapy for over a year. It was completely useless and the vision therapist was a high school graduate with a very poor attitude who was not familiar with how to work with special needs children. She got into an argument with my 10 year old who is on the Autism spectrum! She also told him about her personal problems with childhood abuse and asked him questions repeatedly about his family life. It was very uncomfortable for him and he resisted going. She did not allow me to sit in on the sessions once my son said he was uncomfortable so we stopped going. She admitted to getting into arguments with my son because he didn't do the work to her satisfaction and "hurt" her feelings. Dr. Adema is fine, professional and helpful, but he doesn't administer the vision therapy and doesn't supervise his staff at all it seems. I have 3 good friends who have children with dyslexia, dysgraphia and ADHD who have had vision therapy and NOTHING improved. Save your money!
