She wanted me to start insulin 3X per day BEFORE knowing my A1C results and/or a baseline glucose levels. She does not like to be questioned about the medications she prescribes. She will delay making any changes to medications. I would not recommend her to any one in the East Texas area.

I only saw Dr. Reitmeyer once...she was nice, but her office staff is ridiculous. They do not return phone calls promptly and sometimes not at all. I don't see how you can stay in business like that. I called and left a message with the nurse re: getting bloodwork done for my thyroid. It's been over a week and I still haven't heard from them. Finally, I asked my reproductive endochrinologist in Dallas if they could run the test instead......no problem, they gave me the paperwork and sent me down to the lab. What a concept! I understand we're all busy, but ignoring patients is not the way to do business. I have no interest in returning to this doctor.

Could absolutely not believe it when I logged in and saw all this praise, perhaps she just chose not to be interested in my husband's problems! We were given the impression that multiple calls for the same issue would NOT be returned. We scheduled a lab test for my husband, she told us it would take 2 weeks to get the results. Well, more than 2 weeks later, the office finally lets us know that "sample size was insufficient." We rescheduled with the lab, but missed it due to illness. Well, we placed our "1 phone-call" trying to reschedule again and were completely ignored. Finally I went through my OB/GYN and scheduled the same test, same lab, and not only did everything go smoothly, but we got the results THE NEXT DAY. I have since communicated with my Dr. almost everyday since, asking questions related to the lab results and have been treated very respectfully and gotten my answers. There is absolutely no excuse for ignoring a patient. NONE!

She is AMAZING! I had gone through so many test trying to find out what I had. Finally one of doctors sent me to her and she knew instantly what I had. She has treated me and my family very well.

One of our favorite Physicians, Dr. R is always Patient first and parents second. Our daughter has been thru alot and Dr. R. recognizes that and has wonderful repore with our daughter. She is extremely knowledgable in Endocrinology and is a generous person in the community. HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Meg just had to look at my daughter to see PCOS, other doctors had not discovered it in the three previous years, until a new doctor said she needed to see Dr. Meg.

The BEST endo ever. She is so knowledgable and always thorough. She actually saved my life by putting me on the pump. You can tell her anything and she knows how to solve your problem or who to refer you to, in order to help you. I was one of her first patients when she came to Tyler and I will stick with her as long as I am in this area. I Love her.
